How Long does it typically take to get my artwork?
All my pieces are meticulously handcrafted by me in mechanical graphite pencil so it takes time to complete each piece & I don't ever skimp or cut corners. So my turnaround time is usually about 3-4 weeks. If you need something done in a quicker manner I can put your piece through on a Rush. This basically puts you at the top of the list to be completed. There is an extra charge to do this so if you are interested please contact me so I can go over this with you.
Do you Do pieces in Color?
All my pieces are hand drawn by me in graphite mechanical pencils. I don't generally ever do pieces in color. If you need or want your piece in color I can & have been able to add in color to a print or copy of your portrait via my computer. It's not something I prefer to do as you will then be framing and displaying a print of your piece and not the original. But I can accommodate you if that is what you would like done. Talk to me about your specific desires & I will work with you
Do You Only Sketch Pets?
No! Over my career I have sketched People, Vehicles, Bulidings/Homes. Even horses,cows, livestock, & wildlife. Below are a couple of examples of non-pet pieces I have done. Please feel free to contact me if you have a project in mid you would like to discuss. How Do I get Photos to you?
Any photos you have for me to work from please attach and send to me via Message/Email. Or they can even be texted to me and I can work from them that way. If you have hard copy pics to send me in the mail you are sure welcome to do so. Anything sent to me will be returned to you at the completion of your order
How does your process work? How Do I place an order?
Please look through my listings and select the size you would like done. Purchase by Add to cart and it walks you through the process. Once it goes through I receive a notice & will notify you that I got your order. I will then get you and all your information noted down in my books. Please message me any photos you have for me to work from. When I get ready to start your piece I will let you know. From there it should only take a couple of days to complete. Once completed I will send you an image of the finished piece for you to look over & approve. If there's any tweaking that needs done we will do at this time. When I know you are completely happy with your art I will get it mailed & I'll get you a shipping notice & tracking info. Shipping within the U.S. takes typically 3 days.
Do you ship over seas
Yes! I ship to just about anywhere. Costs are different than what is listed here as these are for US costs, but please let me know and would be happy to help you. I am located in central Illinois but I have shipped to places like Australia and Malaysia. So don't hesitate to contact me.
